Schools Division of Santiago City valiantly surmounts the challenges brought about by the “new normal” in education. Born out of the desire to reach learners from all walks of life amid stringent social distancing and quarantine protocols, Project PROVIDE -Providing Resources Off-line: Variety of Interactive Developed Educational IMs, is an online-offline repository of learning materials created to store locally crafted, developed and quality assured learning materials based on the Most Essential Learning Competencies approved by DepEd.
It is an inclusive way of delivering learning materials to learners regardless of gadgets and internet connection availability. Schools and learning communities shall be provided with computers courtesy of the Local Government Unit of Santiago City which pledged support for the advancement of the Project. The computers shall be utilized solely for this project. Local Stakeholders in the barangay level shall also be tapped for this project as knowledge bearers.
True to its name, Project PROVIDE gives equal opportunity for learners to access education despite the surge of COVID-19. The project continues to harvest learning materials from teachers through online quality assurance and presentations of materials prior to uploading to the repository.
